Fished Williams lake this afternoon (monday), probably about 10+ boats on the water at any given time, and lots of coming and going at the public launch. In about 2 hours of fishing, two of us landed about 20 or so. All were 11 inches or less. Mix of cutthroats and rainbows. No larger fish, may have been doing something wrong. Last year, using the same lures, caught a few good sized and lost one big triploid. Conditions were breezy and slightly overcast. Talked to a couple of guys who said it was slow, but caught a 23-25 inch triploid trolling. A couple of fly fishermen said they had caught a lot of dinks, but a few decent fish. Overall, it was fun to catch the little fish, some were pretty fiesty.
