After our chilly find of Lilly Lake we drove to Beehive Res. It is easy to find if you know the right roads as there are no signs. Take FS 9712 off of Mission Ridge Rd to the top of the hill (2 miles)and it's on the right. There is a sign stating no engines allowed which gave us the clue there was a lake there. (You can't see it from the FS road) It was still too cold and windy for us to fish, but there were several people fishing, most using worms and a coule were using power bait. It was real slow according to one guy I spoke to. I didn't see anyone with any fish. The game dept was driving in as we were leaving so I didn't get to talk to him. I was told by one guy that it has not been stocked yet but I have not checked it out on the Fish & Game site.
