Launched at Taidnapam this morning and was fishing by 6:30 a.m. Trolled Hildebrants multiple spoon combo's with a little leader and nightcrawler and at times added a piece of power bait (tried green, orange and yellow). Had one hit. Out of boredom, anchored up about 1/4 mile below fishing bridge and tried both bobber and worm and just worm and splitshot. Had three more hits but nothing with any conviction. Fished here last week and limited in a couple hours. Proabably had 60 hits with 30-40 fish on using same setup. Lake visibility was like 10 feet or 20 feet or whatever, it was good. Today, after heavy rain on Wednesday, visibilty was more like 2 feet.
Never hooked a fish in 5+hours, pulled out around noon.
But, the good news, it was a beautiful morning with some sun and pretty much no wind to speak of. The first three hours or so, up in that channel, was like glass. We saw 20 fish or so boil, but they just would not bite. We were also amused watching the Tacoma Power employees drag a net around in the shallows catching little chinook and whatever else they were catching.
