5/12/2009 10:50:00 PMMy seven year old son and I are trying to learn how to fish at Pine Lake. How do you cast a 10' leader on a crowded dock? Do you literally attach 10' of leader to a swivel on one end and a snell hook size 6 on the other with 2-3 power eggs?

5/13/2009 12:03:00 AMThis was the first time I used a 10 ft leader at Pine. I have had sucess with 5-7 ft leaders before there. So i literally had a 10 ft leader with a size 8 egg hook with 2 eggs. I just threw the eggs behind me and made sure that the line wasnt caught on the pole before I made my cast. Just let people around you know that your about to cast if theres someone near you or in the way.
