Talk about crowded. We arrived at the lake about 9 am. parking lot was full, some hoopla going on with racing canoe thingys and lots of music, singing, peoples doing stuff. We launched and started by looping around the island. My father in law caught a couple of fat perch while we were trolling. Got down to the south end of the lake and was trolling on the surface above the over abundance of the weed forest and finally began getting some bites and pulled in my first trout. Second one came about 20 mins later using a bobber in the same general area. Nothing major to write about, but 4 stockers in the 10-12 in range. plus the perch. Lots of fishing, not alot of catching on the lake today.

Water temp was just under 64 degrees and the perch are loaded with eggs. Panfish should become active soon, real soon....

It's called fishing, not catching....maybe tomorrow will be the day. good luck everyone.
