Spent the morning with Tdot, and my friend Nate in the dunes. Blew a couple hours in there looking for the perfect spot to start fishing, Tdot used some 3G technology and BAM! perfect location via Google maps. We came in behind another bass boat on an isolated dune, horseshoe shaped bay, all underwater because the lake is way deep right now. Found a few largenmouth cruising, and not interested in any baits. We spent a half hour trying to get a fish off of a bed. Tdot let me try out one of his setups to coax a bite, but I didn't have the swimbait touch yet. We were both working a bluegill bait over and around the bed. I finally pulled out and just worked the boat for the final minutes. The bass finally took his bait and got him in the boat. Yeah Tdot. Fun time had by all. Let's do it again sometime soon!
