We had a lot of trouble getting going today. Left the house, but forgot the electric trolling motor and the battery. So we turned around and picked up those two things. Back on the road again, we realized that we forgot the net and the control for the trolling motor. By this time we said forget it and just went without.

At the lake we fished for a couple of hours, trolling, then landed a nice brown trout at 10am. We moved spots and hooked up a large rainbow, probably 4-5lbs. We didnt have a net so it got away. We then fished until 11am and hooked up two more medium sized rainbows. A nice day, but really had to work to catch the fish we got.

I am really happy to hear stories like that when it was not me this time. But all in all it sounds like a good day was had and that is why we all fish in the first place good company and funny stories and every once in a while a few fish thrown in just to keep it interesting...D

I and probably most of the gusy on this site have "been there and done that." I'm getting more forgetful with time. I need to post a list of what to bring for each trip in the truck so that I can double check it before heading out.
