Took the wife out for a troll around the lake. I like Cranberry, it's fairly close for us, and not too bad for fishing (usually). We had some good luck trolling, landing some nice 'bows in the 12-15 inch range. Dropped anchor for a while and was pleasantly surprised to land a nice 18" brown using a night crawler with a bobber! The old reliable. She even landed a perch, but it was a bit on the small side, so we put him back to grow a little. I had caught a good sized perch (13" or so) here last year. Nice thing about this lake, good variety of fish. I might break out the bass tackle when the water heats up a little.
Weather was great, very little wind, calm water. Taking advantage of the cooler water with few weeds while it lasts.

Thanks for your report. Cranberry is one of my favorite lakes however I have only fished it a few times this year and it was a little slow both times. Sounds like the bite has improved so I will take a trip there soon. Thanks again.
