Got up early and headed out to the lake. got on on the lake about 6:30 already 8 boats out there. Didnt have any luck till about 9 or so, then the fish started hitting. Caught 7 fish in about 2 hrs. 5 of the seven had worms on the body. Saw this last year, didnt think they would start already. Sad to say. some of the fish we caught were pretty big, probably hold overs from last year. Threw them all back cause of the worms.

On a side note.. What is up with people and parking out there?? Doesnt anyone read english any more? 2 jerks in pickups (red and Brown) parked right in front of the NO PARKING signs by the ramp.. Then you go down the road and everyone is parking in front of the NO PARKING signs along the road as well... Really... Are people that ignorant now adays? AMAZING...

Anywho, it was a great day on the water to say the least...
Have a great weekend ALL, and say thanks to a VET.

Good report. I harvested 8 fish there in the last few days and none had worms. I will keep an eye out for that. I will likely go there again tomorrow early morning. As for the no parking signs, I do know that the Sheriff's Office checks that launch for State access parking permits in the windows of the vehicles parked there. They could definitely write some parking tickets as well. I believe the RCW parking violations hold a $101.00 fine amount each unless they write the violation under their county code which is likely much less. Nothing says you can't report this as well. If the Deputy in that area isn't busy he/she might just respond there and cite a few of these violators. As for their ability to read; my guess is they just don't care! I saw lots of folks like this on opening day weekend at Heart Lake. It was so bad I actually left the lake early. I did post a frustrated report for Heart Lake following that encounter. Anyway, thanks for your report.

Those worms, are they small & white that attaches just beneath the scales? if so those are somekind of parasites which really don't go any deeper into the flesh, it only attaches to the fish to draw out blood, I had caught many fish with it and I usually scrape it off with a knife but the ones with alot of it I just scrape it off and release it back.
