I was at Green Lake from 6 to 9 in the evening at the SE L shape dock. The barometric pressure was at 30.04 and falling.
I fished with power eggs tipped with a nightcrawler for the first hour with no bites. Then I tried bobber fishing with nightcrawlers. The hook was about three feet from the bobber. I had a solid bite and the bobber was below the surface for about 10 seconds. I tried to set the hook, but there was too much slack line. This was my frist time bobber fishing and I didnt know how slack the line should be. When I tried to tighten the line, the bobber would move closer to me.
The weather started to change rapidly. The clouds were getting darker and the winds picked up.I decided to switch to lures. Tried spinners, spoons and a plug. Still no luck. Thats a grand total of one bite in two days of fishing at Green Lake. I only saw one fish caught by other anglers the past two days.
