Ludlow is located on private land controlled by Pope Resources. Access to the lake is restricted due to logging operations. I became curious when I viewed a pickup loaded with a small boat leaving, having gone through the locked gate. ATV's are also restricted so we biked in. It is a long ride to the lake. We fished with worms and bobber just before sunset. Fish were feeding on top all over the lake. Fish are 8 to 10 inches and very hungry. Bank access is non existent and the boat launch is very rough and steep (100 ft of steep sloped). This lake is no larger than a beaver dam pot hole. This is ideal for float tubes. I might add that we saw no evidence of a logging operation. This lake has been planted by WDFW and should not be restricted to employees of Pope Resources.
