I had a meeting in Moses Lake this morning so I decided to go out to Beda Lake for the fist time.
I got on the water at about 11:00 am. Water temp 69° (Surface) and 63° 15-20'. About 73° and breezy.
I began by using a Stayner Ducktail after seeing a lot of forage fish at the launch. This proved to be a good choice with a nice 16" Rainbow after only a few casts. The next hour or so was used getting to know the lake with my finder looking for holes etc. I caught 2 more on the Stayner and then changed to a damsel pattern after seeing a strong hatch coming on. It worked and I caught 5 more nice Rainbows before I called it a day around 3:00 pm.
I will be back in the area in a week and I think I will go to Lenice/Merry/Nunnually.
Tight Lines!
