Changed up the PSFTC Fish and moved it to Trout Lake. S we made a plan to fish Trout Lake with everybody. Got my handy dandy directions from Google. Nathan and I got up bright and early to wake up the chickens and make the journey. I am still not sure how I actually found the lake except that is must have been the fishing gods guiding me to the launch. A few minutes later Aaron and Jerry showed up. Then Suzanne rolled in as well. Nathan and I were the first in the water and we took of left off the launch. It is a small lake but there are many places to fish. By the end of the day it was us 5 on tubes plus 3 boats fishing for trout. Nathan missed one that he fought with for a moment. Lesson learned from him was a more aggressive hook set. I caught a 2.5 off a root beer colored baby brush hog. It was cool as it was my first fish off of that lure. I also had one the came up at my senko that dangled in the water as one of my casts hit the branches. I casted back in there and hooked into the fish after a short fight and it knowing the lily pads better than me it worked its way loose. Later when Aaron, Jerry and I crossed paths and were talking one hit the brush hog and I was not paying attention and my brain didn’t register soon enough to set the hook. Only 30 minutes from my house I like this lake. A good little float tube lake ... thanks Aaron for showing us this water.
