Good evening folks,

Went to Wildcat early this afternoon about 2pm, launced the float tube and headed directly south to the other side of the lake. Using a green wooly today and did get three or four nice hits on the way over to the shore but no hook ups. Once on the south end, started trolling basically from the shore toward the center of the lake where I picked up two nice 10 in Rainbows who were more than pleased to be released to grow bigger.

Once I got to the center of the lake, I headed directly East and about 10 minutes later I had a very large tug and hook up. When I got the fish to the net I saw I had hooked a nice 16 inch Rainbow. I will say it was one of the nicest Bows I have seen in a while. After gently removing the fly, I let him slowly swim away.

So for today - Green Wooly, trolling south to north and then west to east. Hot spot is located on map for area of where I hooked the 16 incher. Did not troll on bottom maybe up 10 feet or so.

So good luck and stay safe out there. And as always I never keep things from my report, no secrets here.
