went to bradley at 0500 first one on lake. I was tagerting LMB. Started straight down from toys with poppers and unweighted worms working clock-wise around lake. After rotating lures I made it to the dock and fan casted cranks, poppers, worms, and jigs. Finally on other side I got first hit, but i lost it right at bank. It was about 2.5 to 3 lbs LMB on a crank lighty bouncing bottom.

Then, on a Banjo minnow free swimming, I saw it dissapear, set the hook, felt some weight, then the line broke (6lb- p-line). Maybe it was a fish or just caught in weeds.

Finally, I was casting a small torpedo popper, missed two, i casted back through with smaller banjo minnow and saw it bounce around underwater but not dissapear so it must have been small ones.

For the cranks and poppers i was using ten foot steelhead pole with 12lb mono, jigs and minnows were on 6ft spinning rod with 6lb. The top water action was on left/shallow side casting into open pockets. I fished till 0800, no one that i saw caught any. Good luck every body!

I guess not I don't really remember. I haven't been to that lake in a few years. Way back in the reports someone caught about an 8 pounder.
