Went bassin at Sunday Lake this morning for a few hours. I got 5 good size largemouth (2-3 pounds), and a couple dinks. I used a weightless black rubber worm and had to fish REALLY SLOW to get a bite. A times my worm would sit 10 seconds+ before a bass would pick it up. All fish were caught in the lilly pad cuts or around wood structure, and all were released as always. The fishing was slow, but rewarding.

You are a bass master! I was reading your earlier reports on cassidy, i can't seem to figure it out yet. Got any tips?

I have fished that little lake a few times in the past and caught a few bass up to about 2 pounds. I liked to fish it early in the year before it became so weedy. Is the lake still for hand carried craft only?

Bob, yes, Sunday Lake is a hand carry craft only lake, you just cannot get a trailer into and off that launch. It has a great big L-shaped dock for shore fishing however. Luckily the boat I use is just a bit larger than a bathtub. Also, I loved your Bass Record list you posted...WOW! I am starting my own now. Take care, happy fishing, Hawgs On/John

Thanks Hawgs, I was hoping that my list would encourage others to do the same thing. I plan to add another 50 or more to the list soon.
