Fished Leech on Saturday with my Father, Brothers, and Uncle. With our group and the fishing club on the water, I'd say there were 50+ people throwing flies that day. We fished from 9am-6pm with a lunch break in the middle. I landed 10 fish with 5 of them being Brookies and 5 Triploids. Most of the Brookies came on Dries while the Triploids were mostly taken on Chronomids. I lost 5 other fish and missed around 10 more takes to give a good idea of the action I had during the day. I think the fishing presure was a factor on the Triploid sucess but didn't seem to affect the Brook Trout at all. Could have probably landed 50 fish if I wanted to focus on the Brook Trout. Biggest problem for me was the Helicopter working over at the White Pass Ski resort. It was making runs up the mountain all day and it sounded like Vietnam. Really annoying when you're trying to get out and enjoy nature. Good day overall.
