Headed out about 10:00am for the south side of Snag Island. Moved slowly westward around the shoreline. Partner was using small spinnerbait, I was using 5" Yamamoto Senco. Both of us had hits right away. Partner landed a small mouth bass about 8" in size and threw it back. As we moved around to the small north south canal on the west end of the island we too saw the guys in the small johnboat and proceded up the canal. Got a few bites but nothing big enough to get past the tail on my Senco. Headed west around the shorline more and into the small cove on the far west end of Snag Island. Partner hooked a 12" largemouth hiding under a submerged log, threw it back.

Was our fist time out on Tapps and trying to learn the lake. Know the big ones have to be there somewhere and a Tiger Muskie would be a bonus as the 3 I have caught before have always been by accident while fising for bass. Will try again later.
