got to the lake with my cousin and our little 9ft livingston around 8am. rowed all over the shoreline and across to the island where we fished around the backside of it. just a few here and there. we finally headed back towards where we launched and found our hotspot. one after another...bluegills, crappie, perch, and sunfish. this was about 10:30am and by noon we had filled our 3.5 gallon bucket up with fish. to my surprise out of all the fish we caught, only about 5 were rockbass. all fish were nice sized, i took em' home and fillet the larger ones and kept the smaller ones for pan frying. overall it was a good day. a lot of people say this lake sucks, but if you can find them, you'll get em. the problem is trying to get them to bite. they were kinda picky on how the worm looked on my hook. wierd, but true. tight lines.
