Made the drive from Everett out to Long at 4am w/ Snohobassguy. Got to lake right about 6 am, worked from the sound end by the ski course all the way up the east side, worked topwater early, spinnerbaits, shallow cranks and plastics with nothing but a lot of weeds to show for it...Left about 1030 and ran over to Sawyer on the way back home from about 1130-4. Had 2 hits on worms, but dodging the 50+ boats on the lake and the constant 2' rollers made it a little tough. Definately should have got there early and picked a less crowded day. On the plus side...we both got paid to go fishing so cant complain too much.

Long Lk that early in the morn I have found most of the fish right on the bank. The spinners don't seam to be the hot bait but plastics? I didn't see the jig in your report ? I think I was out there in a gold bass boat.

We worked the bank tough with nothing to show. Threw a few jigs w/ a craw trailer, Big worms, Senkos, frogs. Nothing out of the pads, docks, cabbage. Would like to hit it again but its a long drive, maybe when we get a few clouds and some cooler temps. The only other boat that was fishing out there when we were was out in the middle of the lake anchored up. Maybe next time....
