I got a chance to sneak out to Lake Sixteen to do some bassin after work today...4pm-7pm. It was a bit windy, with a few light sprinkles and a 67 degree water temperature. I swam a 4" weightless yellow rubber worm, rigged with an open hook on my ultra light rod, as I drifted along the shoreline. I caught more than a dozen largemouth bass in the 1 pound range, and many more smaller ones, but couldn't belive it when this 13" rainbow trout jumped all over my bass worm. It was a lot better fishing than what I expected considering the weather, and that this was the first time I've ever been here. What a beautiful little lake... I look forward to a return trip on a calm day.

Nicely done and thanks for your report. I love this lake and fish it often for trout until the weather warms and the bite slows down. It's also cool to hear there are some nice bass in there as well.
