I am starting this weeks report off a little different than reports of the past because, well this week has been an odd week. I have taken groups from all over the world this week and to top off the week I had the great pleasure of being a big part of a Fishing Adventure/ Wedding onboard my boat..

Pete and Shelley Loukusa of Gold Bar, Wa., contacted me over 2 weeks ago and wanted to know if they could get married during a Guided trip here on Beautiful Lake Chelan..I was just blown away with this request..So I lined up a Minister, Frank Needles, and Local Chelan Mirror Newspaper, Photographer/ Video producer Dan Quigley, and went out and had an outstanding Fishing/Wedding Adventure.. One that I will never forget..Really makes me feel good that Pete and Shelley Loukusa thought so highly of my service that they wanted to fullfill there wildest wedding dream with me as their Guide..

On to the fishing..I cannot say enough about the Laketrout fishing here..We have been boating over 10 Laketrout every trip all week..The bait of choice has been herring and Ace Hi-fly by Silverhorde..Troll these presentations within 3 to 5 ft. off the bottom to be most productive. I am finding most fish between 150 to 230ft. deep out from Rocky Point and off Minneapols Beach.

We are in the heat of Summer so to all make sure you have lots of liquids onboard and be careful as all the driftwood has made it's way down in the lower basin.tight lines to all and good luck out there..
