there are alot of big azz trout at clear, just when all the upper folks quit tryin to troll at 15 mph with yard and a halfs or think their in a bass derby grindin their motors into the sticks tryin to get that 5 dollar lure out of a tree, you can still fish with a aired up worm and marsh mellow or a marshmellow and single egg off the bottom, the trick is to find the openings between the weeds where they travel, all the big fish ive caught, between 2-4lbs, have been full of freshwater clams, i know they feed off the bottom, but if your too jumpy to still fish, then try rolling up some powerbait into a wormish form or just a worm and hook the little guys all day long.... trust me the osprey follow my boat for potential floaters, but this lake produces the planters with awsome meat, all pink, and only white meat in the fresh triploids, this lake is not dead at all
