Had to back the Jeep Cherokee up into the lake till the rear bumper was under water, but we finally got the boat in the water. Fished this lake up and down for hours with all sorts of lures. Nothing to be had. The wind picked up about 3 hours after we got on the lake, and there were 2 ft swells with white caps the whole way back to the launch. We packed it up and headed over to Fish lake right outside of Cheney. The radio mentioned something about a tornado touching down just north of us, and there was a lot of thunder and lightning.. but we hit the lake all the same.. for about 15 minutes... then thought we better call it a day... lightning and tornados don't make for good fishing experiences.
