My daughter came home for a few days and she wanted to go fishing, which was fine with me. I wanted to try a new lake so we decided to fish Lake Kokanee. We only got two fish in the boat but I can’t complain. The weather was warm with light breezes, couldn’t have been nicer day. This lake has to be one of the most beautiful lakes around. Beautiful lake, combined with the day and having the opportunity to spend time with one of my children, it doesn’t get any better. A day like this is certianly one of Gods blessings.

I googled the lake and it looks nice, where is the boat ramp, any restrictions?

If you look at an aerial photo map you will see the dam at the south end of the lake. Across from the dam you will see a dock.
The launch ramp is just south of the dock in the southeast corner of the lake. After you launch the lake will look shallow for a 100 yards or so then it will get deep, about 100 feet or so. Don't park in the launch area. Parking is across the road. Don't let the signs confuse you. The entrance to the public parking area is shared with a private park. Put the parking tag you got with your fishing license in your window and your good to go. I looked the lake up in the regulations and it wasn't mentioned. That tells me there are no special restrictions. Take a camera and enjoy. Jerry
