With the lake being only 30 minutes away I have wanted to get out there with the tube and finally did. BassDood, R0cky23 and I launched around 5:00pm and headed left. BassDood quickly hooked into one around the 2 pound range. All together he caught 6 for the day ... 4 LMB, 1 rock bass and one perch. The crank bait seemed to be the ticket. Was hoping to catch my first good one on the crank but no luck. Both R0cky23 and I were skunked but we got to watch BassDood catch fish ... LOL. It is a cool lake and I am going to try and make it a point to fish it more and begin to learn it. It is way too fishy not to be holding a few good lunkers. It is a little spooky with the stumps and the bubbles coming up from the depths everywhere. Will hit it again for sure though.
