Launched about 8am and started from the launch working south on the west shore. Threw buzzbaits and frogs around pads, spinnerbaits around docks without a bump all the way to the far south end!

9:30am Headed out over submerged grass in 6-10' and tried twitching floating jerkbaits and t-rigged worms, still nothing. Water temps 70.5*.

10:30am Headed to a rocky point on the west side of the lake by a marina, threw spinnerbaits, shallow/medium/and deep diving crankbaits nada. Wind out of the south at 5-10mph steady light drizzle.

12:00pm Ran back to the boat launch and fished rock shore north for about 1/4 mile tossing a green grub on a 1/4 oz jighead and caught the smallie in the pic 1.3lbs. Caught 5 more that size and smaller plus a couple perch in the same area.

1:30pm Cruised around to a small cove north of there on the west side and caught the largie in the pic on the same grub. Continued north along west shore alternating between grub, jig, and perch colored DT-6 and caught 3 more small smallmouth. Water temps here 73.2*.

Caught one 18" squawfish on the crankbait, but the excitement was just too much for the little guy and he "mysteriously" died right in my hands....I gave him a proper burial at sea;)

Fished all the way up to and around the bridge, with no more action so I decided to run back to the south end and have one more go.....lost one on a spinnerbait, and that was it.

Off the water at 4pm.
