me and my dad got up at about 5:55 am and got on the water just after 7 am. we fished with almost everything in our tackle box. when we reached a certain spot on the lake, i threw out a red and black feathered and gold bladed rooster tail. with in about 2 min i got a fish but i couldnt set the hook so it got away. we spotted some people in a canoe reeling in a perch. we asked how many fish they caught and they said 8 perch and 1 bass that was really small which they released (because they couldnt remember the minnimum keeping size for bass). we asked them what bait they were using the they said nightcrawlers so they gave us the rest of the nightcrawlers because they were heading back to shore. when one of them was smacking the bait on the surface of the water to try to get it off, SHE CAUGHT A PERCH JUST FROM SMACKING IT ON THE WATER!!!!!! then she put into their bucket and continued hitting the bait on the water and SHE CAUGHT ANOTHER PERCH LOL!!!!!!!!! they went to shore and we fished with the nightcrawlers and within 30 min we had caught 1 perch and 3 bluegill. overall, not a bad day
