I was dying to check out this lake today, after hearing about it just Friday. I got a call from CKM85, and that was all it took. We got a bit of a late start, so only fished for 1.5-2 hours. It's a funny lake.... We apparrently put in at the small lake... VERY SHALLOW. We moved our way to the Beaver dam, and then carried our gear over to the larger, slightly deeper lake.
I maybe caught 6-7 lmb. nothing of any size really, but certainly a fun time. CKM85 (Chris) had a good time also with his new pontoon boat. A lot of wildlife in the lake/area. Bluegill and various fish everywhere underneath the boats. I was most sucessful with soft plastic worms. I think they were green, but I don't see colors. Hits on Senkos also, but really tied up with a thinner worm with a squiggly tail. Top water green frog also got some hits. Nobody else on the lake. If you go..........B-SURE to bring some Skeeter repellant. at dusk that eat us alive.

Hey QF, I've fished that little lake a couple of times years ago and really enjoyed it too -- And, like you I did catch a few small largemouth bass up to 15 inches and 2 pounds. Caught bass on jigs and Rapalas -- And, also caught a couple of cutthroat on the Rapalas. Tight lines, BJ

hey Chris, great fishin with you yesterday. Really enjoyed that lake. I'm a big fan of lakes that are more secluded. The water was so clear and nice, you can see several feet below and see all the fish swim under you. It was amazing.

I have fished that lake a few times out of the 'toon. Same story, lots of small fish, but their are some decent sized cutts in there. There is no way to put in on the larger lake, you have to cross the dam to get back there....unless you want to bushwack about 100yrds through very thick undergrowth.
