Yeah, I am late again at posting a report, but I have been fishing late into the night/early into the morning and then going to work. I havn't tried for the koks in Deer in 15 yrs. I had heard from a couple of regs up there that they were catching a few. Yes so did we started at dark and fished untill 2:00 am and we left with 14 fish between 10 and 12". Not the fish we used to get out of there but better than what I had heard for the past 7 yrs. All fish came from 32 ft of right off the bottom on the north east entrance to the narrows.

My cousin fished Loon the same night and had the best success he has had all year there. I would hit it Wed night but we already dicided to try Chapman again ( check out report ).

I am glad to finally get some Koks out of Deer, but, the the limit if I understand the regs is only 5 Kokanee if it is not otherwise stated for that body of water.

Nice report Eustice. I have night fished in the narrows a few times and I usually end up with a bunch of trout...However, not kokanee that I'm aware of. I know they are trout, because after getting fed u[p with the maggots not working...I switch back to corn and worms. I have been going for macs in Deer Lake and have been doing very well. About to post a report on our last trip!
