After a poor outing at Baker Lake on Saturday, My oldest son and I hit Sixteen after we got home for some revenge fishing. My son was rigged with a white senko to start, caught fish on that as well as green pumpkin, and black as the sun went down. He thought he was going to out fish me in size and quantity after landing a fat 12" LMB. I was throwing Green Pumpkin Brush Hog, Rebel Craw, 3/8 oz jig with a Pumpkin Flappin Hog trailer. I caught fish on all but the crank, had two on but they got off very quick. Note to self, get new treble hooks for the rebel cranks. I got a 14" on the Brush Hog. My son got the quantity but i got the size. A good time was had by both of us, and it killed the Kokanee Blues we had after Saturday at Baker Lake. Football is starting up for my son, so next weekend we are heading to Grandy Lake to camp and fish before the 'free' time gets chewed up with schedules.
