You can have some fun with trout, just dunking some powerbait in, but again, not the most productive. Green lake is known to have an array of fish from Largies to crappie and all. The ones you were getting were most likely perch or sunfish following your lure but alot of times, they won't bite. Also, Shore fishing Green Lake for anything other than bass can be tough...its a pretty big lake! With that said, with some patience, you can actually access most of the lake shoreline unlike alot of other lakes.
If you do live in the area, do check out Snohomish! Pinks are running through the rivers pretty good lately from the reports I've been reading. There are some other lakes close by, Haller Lake is good for small largies. I've caught dozens from shore.
Check on Google Map and see if you can spot some lakes. They'll all most likely have some fish in it. Good luck
