I was thinking of hitting it up early in the morning like say 4am. Is there a public launch? I will check it out on the map of how to get there? Any how any tips will be greatly appreciated, thanks later.stay safe out there

8/21/2009 7:37:00 PMThere is a public launch there. I didnt start fishing till around 6:30ish am. I was using top water popper (baby bass ) and some sipinerbait (white silver willow 2 blade) the end of the lake were the public launch is would be a good place to start. Tough fishing with the weeds. Work the docks and wait for the explosion. The other end of the lake ( north side) is where we got in to some bluegill. Lots of small ones but non-stop (white and red/white micro jig cast let sink and set hook type deal. Use small piece of worm till you catch about 4-5 spinyrays then you wont need anymore worm. By the way I think you wrote about downs,ANY CRAPPIE?
