Headed out to Tanawax yesterday evening to have a try at the LMB. Got my boat in the water around 1830 and went to the NW bank about half way up the lake (adjacent to the little stern-wheel paddle boat). After only a few minutes, my wife hooked into small one while dead-sticking a watermelon Senko. Maybe 30 minutes later and about 100 yards further north, a nice 4-4.5 pounder picked up my watermelon Senko on the fall after I bounced it off a floating log. This is the nicest fish I've caught in a long time and it put up a great fight. I also threw a deep-diving firetiger crank and chartreuse spinner without luck. We were off the water by 2000. All fish were released.
