Hey there everyone!
So I went up to Twin lakes and had a blast catching 6" to 13" trout. You can’t beat the scenery up there with the stunning peaks, quiet surroundings and the lakes are gin clear! I used a mepps spinner with some salmon eggs and they liked em'. I caught a limit in about 2 1/2 hours. People said there were Rainbows and Brown trout in each lake but, I have to say that I didn't see a single brown but caught all Eastern Brooks. Anyhow I released all mine. I fished both lakes and caught all mine on the lower lake, from shore and from a raft. Fished both deep and shallow, and by deep I mean to the bottom (90’ at their deepest with lots of long vertical drop- offs)and not any bites no matter what baits or lures I tried. So I’m thinkin’ the only fish in there right now are the smallies in the 15’ to 1’ depths. Fishing frome shore was the most successful. Anyhow it was fun and I will come back again when the fish get bigger.

Oh by the way, lots of people think you need a 4X4 truck to get there so I took mine but, there were lots of low riding cars that seemed to make it just fine. Just an FYI.
