Nice fish and nice report Dave!
Good to see reports on Rufus are starting back up with the cooler weather. I'm thinking of heading up there in a week or so. Where were you fishing on Rufus? Was it near the pens or nearer to Chief Joseph?
Thanks.

we've been doing most of our fishing near the lower pens ( the ones closest to chief joseph ). seems to be the most consistant for us getting some decent fish. the middle pens seems to have mostly 'bankers' there fishing. not sure how they're doing. we didn't see anyone really knocking them dead anywhere. there is a nice stretch of water about half way to the upper pen from seatons grove that has some promising looking activity. hope to give that a try as well, hopefully this week end.

Dock: i remember your question from my last report. there are a few primitive launches that are closer to the pens than seatons. not sure of their status or what the deal is there. a guy told us when we launched that seatons was the last ramp you can launch from for free, but i can't comfirm that. i've got an 85hp yamaha, and it's a 10-15 min run to the upper set of pens ( from seatons ), an another 20 min maybe to the lower set. sure beats running up from chief jo!
