Well I hit Loan Lake the other day with my father in-law and we have a fun time. We went out around 1pm and the wind was not fun it was blowing us around a bunch. Between the two of use we caught and released 6 nice trout in the 14 to 16 inch range. We were both using a Dick Night in brass/silver color. I managed to catch a 4inch Bass...odd. When I stopped the boat to release the little bass, my father in-law let his Dick Night sink down deep and he got a hit. He played the fish for a little bit and brought it to the boat it was about a 8inch Catfish, I have never heard of catfish in Loan Lake, but I guess there is a first for everything. The wind started to let us have it, so we called it a day. I hope to go out again before the weather gets bad.
