Lake Chelan remains productive for Laketrout in the Lower Basin of Lake Chelan
Try fishing off mack bar for your chance at catching a Laketrout over 10lbs. early in the morning then move to Rocky Point to find the Biters as the morning progresses..

In my past reports I have mentioned the Ace Hi-fly by Silverhorde so I thought that I would show a Picture of one with an action disc in front which creates a wobble and shake of the Ace Hi-fly when trolled..The faster you troll the faster the wobble but in my application here on the Lake the slow troll is the key for these fish right now..

Rufus woods is starting to show a little more life of the Triploid Bows now with the water temp cooling down.. I expect these fish to really turn on in the next month..

I am running a Special on fishing trips now.. Check out my website for details under the Fishing Report Section.

Thanks to all that fished with me over this reporting period..Tight Lines and be safe.

Joe, are you running a flasher or a dodger in front of that Ace Hi-fly? (if you don't mind my asking...)

I am not...you do not need a flasher at all if you use the Action Disc...

Do you bounce off the bottom the same as you do with a flatfish with this setup?

I do..I try to keep it 1 to 3 ft off the bottom at all times...
