11/28/2009 3:25:00 PMSorry, forgot about lake conditions. The water temp was hovering in the 45-46 degree range. I marked most of the fish at 15-25 ft deep. Most were suspended which led to my choice for drop shotting. Instead of rigging the bait 12-18 inches up from the weight, I opted for 30-36 inches. I spent alot of time searching for humps/logs on the bottom in and around 20 foot. If you can find them, you will find fish. Don"t overlook spinnerbaits. I had several follow mine to the boat while trying shallow cover (black with chartreuse/red tipped trailer). Had i used trailer hooks I am sure one or two would have been hooked up.
