1/15/2010 9:24:00 AMHey BF, I had a chance to fish the lakes last summer from the shoreline. It is very marshy and brushy on the shore and fishing was difficult. I did manage one nice bass with a spinner bait. Check my overview and photos on the lake index. Tight lines, BJ

1/15/2010 9:31:00 AMWhere did you put your float into the 2nd lake? I went there over the summer with nothing and could only find some swampy,muddy, marshy spot to fish from. Might try bringing my friends kayaks there later in the spring sometime.

1/15/2010 3:34:00 PMIs there a good trail? I have a one man pontoon boat with a wheel on it if there is a good trail and not too far. Thanks to anyone who knows this lake.

1/15/2010 5:18:00 PMMost of the trail is just a road, from what I saw but I think it would be too much to try and bring that in there if it's a little heavy. It's about a half mile walk in to the lakes.

1/16/2010 4:14:00 PMjball50, Thanks for the comment. 1/2 mile isn't too far to go. I have a wheel on my pontoon boat which makes it like a wheel barrow. If it is a road I won't have a problem, but if it is too narrow in spots to get to the water, I'd get stuck and yes you are correct it would be too heavy to carry. What do you think? Thanks

1/16/2010 9:27:00 PMOnly place I saw where you might be able to put a pontoon boat in on the 2nd lake is right there by the first lake, but its really brushy you'd have to bushwack back there I'm not sure if youd be able to get it in there. You might want to try pming Bassin Fool or Bob Johansen if there was somewhere else to get into the 2nd lake. There is bass in the first lake too, just don't think there's that many of them in there because my friend saw one around the logs that we were fishing from shore.
