BATTLE GROUND LK (CLAR)
Jan 06 RAINBOW 3,001 2.84 GOLDENDALE HAT (these fish weigh about .35 pounds each)
Jan 11 RAINBOW 1,500 2.20 VANCOUVER HAT (these fish weigh about .45 pounds each)
Jan 19 RAINBOW 3,029 2.63 GOLDENDALE HAT (these fish weigh about .4 pounds each)
I too was in search of easy catches since they had recently stocked over 4500 trout this month, and over 35,000 trout in 2009.
One of the park guys said they had a big problem with russian guys that sneak in at night and take way more than their legal limit of fish.
Judging by the amount of people that were there on last Saturday, not such a nice weather day, it's probably just due to overfishing in general. The entire shoreline was dotted with anglers.
But hey, maybe you'll have better luck/weather or warmer water with hungry fish.
