Launched out of the Atlantic City launch about 9:00 am. Headed over to the SW side of Mercer Is.
trolled going South along the island with a mini squid, green splatter back. Switched to a few different colors of the same thing. First used a cop car color flasher. No bites at all.
By the time I reached the South tip of Mercer Is. there were 6-8 boats all trolling in the same fashon. I then went over to the Southern tip of the lake and trolled past the mouth of the Cedar.
Again no action.
The West channel of Mercer was a mess with debri in the water. Be careful anywhere out there really. Lots of wood and just plain litter. Water was rather stained as well.
I did see one boat land a fish but nobody else that I witnessed. Hopefully a few others will post from the weekend.
