My Hats of to you Joe, and to you Anton. You guys have the touch when it comes to the Lake Chelan Deep water fishing. I got on the Lake about 0830-900 and trolled until 400 PM. Trolled the trench off Rocky Point up to Mac bar, then around again. Pulled the Quik Fish, and the silver horde With Joe's set-up. Speed 1.3 - 1.9 MPH. I played with the bottom with one set-up, and ran the other at 100-120ft.(Two (2) pole endorsement) I only had 2 hits. One was a take-down that I missed, and the other hooked up. It felt like a good fish, and from the way it fought, I think may have lost my first Chinook. Some good head shake, then away it went. I put too much pressure on it and my leader parted. Oh Well, it seems there is a learning curve to each fishery. Better luck next time. The weather was perfect, with slight breeze with an occassional sun ray peeking through, and a Nice view of the surrounding hills made it a great day on the water. This makes two trips in a row with no fish to the boat, so I'm gonna start singing the blues if things don't pick up. LOL Hope to be able to get back out next week and try to break the cycle. Good luck , and stay safe on the water.

Sounds to me like you need Cindy in the boat with you to keep it fishy smellin'. Thanks again for a great day out. And yes I'm sure we'll cross paths or lines in the future.LOL

With scenery like that, even a fish-less day is a winner. :-)

Hey ya AFK, I might not caught any more fish with Cindy in the boat, But the Slow trolling would have passed more enjoyably. LOL

Hi Ganno, I find the deepwater fishing interesting. Floating around on top of the water column and watching the bottom 200-300 feet below. It hard for me to mentally adapt to the concept. I might get more determined after another trip or so, but I'm leaning toward hooking up with Joe, and try to flatten the learning curve. Luck to ya on your fishing excursions.

Hey Toni, that's sound advise, as I can't "carry a tune in a bucket", so going to RW for a fix once in awhile would be a kindness to those around me. LOL Thanks for the comment. Stay safe and hope to see you on this side of the mountains someday.

ain't that the truth hewesfisher. It was an awesome day , and after being socked in under inversion layers over here, it was good medicine. We on this side aren't used to all the fog and sprinkles, but when the weather is getting ya down, just go fishing. You and yours stay well and safe

Joe and Anton definitely have Lake Chelan down pat and i am sure you could learn a great deal by booking a trip. The concept of trolling 300 to 400 feet below the boat seems like it would be a real challenge.I think i will stick to fly fishing and tossing jigs.Good luck to you and all your endeavors.
