This was the third time this year that I have fished the lake and was very eager to get out and try for Perch. The fall days to go fishing and I couldn't say no. Even did extra work around the house so the wife would say OK.
Fortunately we were not disappointed. The first area we targeted (40') showed lots of fish on the finder, tossed anchor, lines down and fish on. The action developed quickly. Its as if these fish are attracted by the action of other fish that are clear and warm = great perch fishing, especially late in the day. I took my 11 year old nephew who was begging getting caught. We didn't count but ended up with about 40 keepers including one jumbo 13". Just enough so you wouldn't be stuck fileting for hours. Overall a great perch fishing outing.
