Got to the lake about 1130am. Cast and retreive jig for about two and a half hours, landing 2 big brooders well over 15in. One of which must have been about to fertilize. (See pic) Just as the fishing got slow, friends from FDFW pulled on to the Greenway to stock the lake. As a surprise to me, I grabbed gear and followed the truck to the other side to the lake. When I made it to the other side, the truck was finished stocking. Now the feeding frenzy began! These stockers were striking anything thrown their way. I caught fish using three different color jigs, rooster tails, kastmasters, needlesticks, and small spoons. All of different colors. For about two hours. About eight other guys in the area were also having success using bobber and jig. I landed at least 15 fish and had numerous others strike my lure. After the fish scattered I made my way back to were I first started that morning. Caught a nice 11 in just before 5pm. Left the lake around 530pm. It was best day at Myron so far for the year. Can't wait to get back out there this weekend with the wife.
