Man! this report is mainly about the fish that got away. Fishing in the middle of the day around Madison park with worms at 2:00 after I caught a nice perch I got the hit of a lifetime. I reeled in a humongous smallie probably 6 to 8 pounds! It was an absolutes monster it was so fat it looked like a circle. My drag was too tight a stupid mistake, the monster was so close but as my friend Dylan was trying to land it it snapped the line! I was heartbroken that was the biggest smallmouth I had ever seen. That day we caught tons of huge perch incredibly fat and there gonna be fish and chips. Dylan also caught 3 nice smallies of about 2 pounds and 2 1 pounders. I only caught 1 1 pounder along with a bunch of smaller ones under a pound. I also caught some cr** fish a nasty brown bullhead and a squawfish which were real disappoints after that once in a lifetime fish. I hope others have better luck than me!
