3/2/2010 7:44:00 PMNice bow, were u fishin the south end of lake. I was out there that day in my inflatable pontoon, fishin smallies for part of the day. I had a couple of bites but no smallies. Im just learning how to fish for smallmouth so any help would help.

3/2/2010 8:50:00 PMNo competition :-) I'm just going to C&R all the lake bound trout from now on. They don't taste good enough to keep. Steelhead and Salmon are much better.

3/3/2010 10:19:00 AMThe fish finders were saying about 48 degrees (depending on what side of the lake). We were on the north end of the lake with the afternoon sun shining on us when I got the trout. It was in the shallows, we were trying to fish one of the drop offs.

3/3/2010 8:10:00 PMNice to hear about the big trout. Im going out there on thursday to make sure boat is functioning properly. I have fished that lake since 1986 for trout and kokanee. Never bass fished there till this year. Cant wait to learn how to get those smallies. I will post a report tomorrow on how i do.

3/4/2010 1:32:00 PMI live 5 minutes from American lake and have fished there since I was 3. awesome lake. I usually have pretty good luck or bass around the small islands at Tillicum. As for catfish, try Harts lake out by Roy or any of the smaller lakes around there.
