Hit Liberty Sunday afternoon. Beautiful day - sun was out most of the time, little wind, water about 42 degrees and fairly clear - the water level is quite low, and as usual this time of year the dock is still in the parking lot. Lots of boats and shore fisherman, not many fish caught by the folks we talked to. A friend and I trolled around the lake 3 Xs, we marked 6 fish in 4 hours (3 of those 6 were bunched together in the same hole), and we caught none. We tried several presentations, but had no takers - maybe the 200 planters are already gone ... Remember to bring your license and parking permit, the game warden was writing tickets.
