I had the Garcia family from Moses Lake out fishing on Chelan today. It started off kind of slow on the Bar. We got 3 fish and lost 2. I tried the flat between the Bar and Minneapolis for a while in depths of 175 to 215 but had no takers. Then we moved into the trench. two and a half passes netted 5 more fish with 4 lost. That's 9 fish on in about 2.5 hours. I stuck to the center line in depths of 215 to 246. Speed was 1.3 to 1.6 mph. The smaller fish were 3 pounds. The big fish was about 6 pounds and had a foot long pikeminnow in it's gullet. The wind blew us off a little after noon. Tomorrow should be nice.
