Victor Doperalski of the Lake Washington Puget Sound Anglers brought his son Davide with us for an 8 hour gig on Lake Chelan. Andy Byrd guided them. It was a slow start early, but picked up after the first couple of hours by moving to and banging away in the trench. Flatfish on the downriggers was more effective than the Ace Hi's on the outriggers. He pounded fish throughout the trench with both ends being the best of it. (see the previous report for the hotspots and more specific locations. What a great weather day to go with the great fishing. The big fish was an 8 pounder which is a bit of a honker for the lower basin. Tight Lines!
